An eager dad-to-be in Georgia, USA, made sure his wife felt supported through the difficulty of labor with his own sweet and sentimental words.
Kendall Caver shared a video of his wife, Jasmine Caver, in labor on Facebook last Sept. 5, with him by her bedside. As they waited for their baby to arrive, he flipped through the pages of a book he had made with motivational messages printed for Jasmine. The video has been viewed over 2 million times as of this writing.

“Do you remember when we first met? Almost 10 years ago…we were just kids in college who took a chance on each other,” were the opening lines.
Between every few messages, there was a reminder: “Breathe (like we’ve been practicing).”
“Over the years, I’ve been your biggest fan. I’ve laughed at the same jokes 10,000 times,” he said in jest.
The rest of the messages were sentimental and honored their relationship, which included a pregnancy loss in 2018.
“After two years of being married, plenty of tests later and a pregnancy loss, I’d do it all over again to know the indescribable happiness I feel today,” he assured her.
“When people ask me how we made it this far, I tell them a lot of prayer. A lot of patience. A few rough times. She gets me,” he wrote.
As if those heartfelt words were not enough to induce tears, he reminded her, “You are the most breathtaking, fearless, wonderfully made woman I know.”
After two days in labor, Jasmine successfully delivered their first child together on Sept. 3 named Sofia Isabel. They call her their rainbow baby, since she came after losing a pregnancy.
