South Korean boy group, NU’EST graced the stage with their powerful dance performances and sweet vocals during their first-ever concert in Manila at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last August 31, 2019. The group is composed of JR, Aron, Min Hyun, Baekho, and Ren, who was welcomed with ecstatic cheers from Filipino L.O.Λ.E.’s
The show started with Min Hyun’s performance of “Yeoboseyo”, followed by their hits “Hello”, “Love Paint”, “Overcome”, and “Bet bet”.
As they interacted with their fans, the quintet showed off their Tagalog skills while doing some “aegyo” poses. And since it was their first time in the Philippines, they never forgot to express their appreciation for the Filipinos who attended the concert.
Aside from group dance performances, Baekho and Ren made a solo act of the songs, “Thankful For You” and “Paradise”, respectively. The night continued with Min Hyun’s dazzling performance of “Universe”, Aron’s sexy number of “Good Love”, and JR’s rap act of “I Hate You”. They also performed “OneKis2”, “My Heaven”, “VVITH”, and “Pretty”, “Face”, “Action”, and “Beautiful Ghost”.
One memorable moment during the encore was the presentation of hand-written notes from each member, expressing their love and warm wishes to their fans all around the world.
The quintet capped off the night with mesmerizing numbers of “Segno” , “Not Over You”, and “Hey, Love”.
