The 10-member team from the Philippines composed of young athletes from various schools bagged medals from the recently concluded Taekwondo Color Kyorugi and Hanmadang 2019 organized by the China Hong Kong National Taekwondo Alliance held at The Siu Sai Wan Sports Centre, Hongkong last July 1.
The team, headed by two-time Olympian Donnie Geisler, won a total of seven gold medals, two silvers, and one bronze medal in the competition participated in by taekwondo jins from the United Kingdom, Singapore, China, Nepal, Korea, and the Philippines. Coach Donnie Geisler was assisted by coaches Charlene Casia and Royette Cabotage.
