This village of Hoenggye in Pyeongchang were the filming locations of the popular dramas, “Bride of the Water God” and “Cinderella and the Four Knights”.
Donghae City Sea Train
It is a special train line that runs along the coastal cities of Gangneung, Donghae, and Samcheok in Gangwon-do. It allows passengers to enjoy a train ride that faces the East Sea view.
Moreover, it has a “trick art” and murals that feature maritime creatures. It’s also a popular tourist attraction among couples.

Last August 9, 2019 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Grand Ballroom, the Gangwon Province celebrated 70 years of friendship between South Korea and the Philippines through a series of exhibits and business consultation seminars. This includes a special program prepared by the Gangwon Province community for the Philippines.
