Continuing with their thrust to create events with relevance, for the month of June, NMG Events Management is one with the LGBTQIA+ community in celebrating Pride Month through a Dance Fitness Marathon entitled “Born This Way”. The event was held last June 30, 2019 at the UP Bahay Ng Alumni, UP Diliman Campus, Quezon City. This was made possible by Reyes Hair Company (RHC) who generously gave a scholarship grant to ten volunteers under the care of PAFPI who can undergo Hairdressing and Beauty Care Cosmetology Training Program. Upon completion of the program, RHC will also make the referral of the graduates to the operating branches of the Reyes Haircutters salons for guaranteed employment. Family members of the ten scholars were also given Personal Accident Insurance coverage by PRU Life U.K.
Attendees gracefully danced to Gloria Gaynor, Queen, Madonna, Janelle Monae, Lady Gaga and a lot more. Everyone enjoyed freebies from the event’s sponsors. Lucky winners of special awards such as, Best Male Dance, Best Female Dancers, Best Senior Dancer and Best Costume took home cash and in-kind prizes with them.
