If you grew up in the ‘90s, then you are probably familiar (or maybe even obsessed) with “Clueless,” a 1995 coming-of-age romantic film starring Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Paul Rudd, and Brittany Murphy.
The film revolves around the life of a wealthy, attractive, but an extremely shallow student named Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) who lives in a mansion in Beverly Hills. Horowitz is friends with fellow rich girl Dionne Davenport, who understands how it feels like to be envied by everyone.
Although it has nearly been 25 years since Jane Austen’s novel, “Emma” was adapted for the big screen, fans are still “butt-crazy in love” with the ‘90s cult classic. So, it’s no wonder why fans completely lost it after Donald Faison (who played Murray in the movie) posted a selfie last Saturday alongside Paul Rudd, Alicia Silverstone, and Breckin Meyer during the 2019 Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2).

Since fans wanted to know how their favorite homies are rollin’ these days, the cast willingly shared some behind-the-scenes facts about filming the movie—which obviously made every fan “totally buggin’.”
Alicia Silverstone shared that she was only 17 when she played Cher, the sweet yet self-centered Los Angeles high schooler. Now that she’s 42, Silverstone recalled being so dog-tired while on the set of the movie as she had just finished filming eight movies back-to-back. She also mentioned how she struggled searching for Cher’s “most capable-looking outfit” because she herself only wears “the same green T-shirt and jeans” in real life.
Donald Faison then added that doing the film was a no-brainer and for him. “It was something I really, really wanted to do. I have a career because of it,” he said.
The 44-year-old actor also told the crowd about his fake braces in the movie and leaving the hair on the sides (when he shaved his head), so he could film other scenes wearing a baseball cap. Not only that, Meyer (who played the stoner character of Travis) proved how cool he was by actually skateboarding to the audition of “Clueless.”
While the Internet is still divided on the rumored remake, the 1995 flick will always be a pop culture favorite—thanks to Cher Horowitz’s wardrobe and witty lines!
