LOOK: Facebook user creates ‘pun-ny’ posts about his recent trip to Japan

Traveling abroad can give a person a new perspective on life – because it’s only when you’re in a different environment can you truly reflect on certain aspects of your life. So, it’s no surprise that a number of people seek adventure whenever they visit unfamiliar destinations.

Oftentimes, these wanderers choose to document their travels via an artistic, Instagram-worthy post – one that can catch the envy of their online friends. In this case, however, this traveler wanted to document his experiences in Hokkaido, Japan, in a very ‘pun’-ny way.

These photos were taken by Facebook user Kris Calot during his recent trip to Hokkaido, Japan. He tells InqPOP! that these images weren’t planned and that he enjoyed coming up with witty puns for these photos.

“Well, kasi first time doon so very observant lang [ako] sa mga pinupuntahan. Then, [I] found those [places with] funny names and compiled [them] lang,” he shares with InqPOP!

(Well, it was my first time there so I was very observant about the locations we visited. Then, I found those places with funny names and compiled them.)

Thanks to Kris Calot, we’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more ‘pun’-tastic places to visit when we go on our next trip abroad!
