Folk singer-songwriter Noel Cabangon teamed up with Pinoy Dream Academy alumnus Davey Langit for a concert show called “Dreaming of Home” at the Music Museum, on September 26, 2018, and was presented by the ATeam.

Inspired by the two’s hometown in the north, where they both studied in Baguio City, this collaboration is also a way of tracing back their journey in the music industry.

Noel and Davey kicked off with some OPM hits such as “Wag Na Lang Kaya,” “Ako’y Sayo,” and “Tag-Ulan.” They also performed some popular classics and medley songs like “Whenever I Call You Friend” and “You’ve Got A Friend.”

The audience sang along as Noel and Davey filled the night with some “homey vibes.”

There was also a showdown of new songs versus old songs! The audience were definitely having a good time as Noel sang a few 1970s favorites while Davey wowed the crowd with some pop songs in the 2000s.

Lolita Carbon joined Noel and Davey on the stage and performed notable songs by rock band “Asin”. Singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid also serenaded the crowd with OPM medleys like “ Bilanggo”, “Hari ng Sablay” and “Beer”.

One of the main highlights of the event was the solo performance of the two artists, singing their originally-composed Ilocano songs. Noel entertained the crowd with his Ilocano reggae song “Panawenen” (This is the time/moment). While Davey sang his pop Ilocano piece “Idjay” (There).
