Global Hoops Manila is once again opening the road to China, as ballers from all over the country are invited to partake in what has become the biggest amateur basketball try-out in the Philippines. Back for its second year, the Global Hoops Philippine Selection Games is giving Filipinos the opportunity of a lifetime to represent the country in the prestige Jump 10 World Hoops Challenge in China later this year.
Coming off last year’s huge turn out that featured over 200 aspiring players, the 2018 try-outs promises an even bigger and better showcase this coming Friday (April 27) at the renowned Gatorade Hoops Center in Mandaluyong.
At the forefront of the event are Global Hoops owners Al Delos Reyes and John Velez–the sole partners of the Jump10 brand in the Philippines.
The try-outs will also take place under the guidance of JUMP10 founder Andy Wu. Much like its predecessor, the Global Hoops 2018 open try-outs is open for the public and is completely FREE of charge. Participants are only required to bring light and dark jerseys, while those who will get chosen must be available to fly to China on the dates of the international competition.Attendees of the Global Hoops 2018 Philippine Selection Games will be given freebies from the NBA Store and selected players will be flown to China in an all expenses paid trip. They will also receive free shoe cleaning services from @Crepprotectph and some lucky players will be given 2 months free gym membership courtesy of HIT Arena.
The event is made possible through partnerships with NBA Store, ESPN 5, Crep Protect PH, Getorade Hoops Center, INQUIRER.NET, INQPOP!, HIT Arena, Jersey Haven, Decon Corporation, Power Multi Media, JOXOD Sanitary Wares, GoTravel Philippines Inc, Laro App , H-Audio, BFL Dragon Hong Kong, NEU Breed Media, King of the Court, SBCL League, Hype Street Basketball and Ballaholics Basketball Club Philippines
