“Indie pop live looping artist Vica Hernandez will be launching her debut EP entitled Dear Universe during a farewell gig at Cafe saGuijo, Makati on April 26, 2018.
Vica, who will be migrating to the US, first joined the music scene in 2009 as one half of the indie folk duo Reese & Vica. This time around, she’ll be sharing a pop-driven sound, incorporating layers of guitar, piano, ukulele, and sweet vocal harmonies to her looped tracks.
Dear Universe will feature songs like Stoop Conversations, Nowhere, Eclipse, The End, and her current single, The Introvert Song, which were recorded at La Balls studio and produced by Nicholas Lazaro. A sixth bonus track entitled Weeds was recorded at Sunny Side Sound Productions and produced by Anton Magno.
The event will include performances by TheSunManager, Moonwlk, Lions and Acrobats, Maya’s Anklet, and will also feature a set from Reese & Vica. ”
