Now on its fifth year, Xavier School’s Frontiers and Innovations in Teaching (FIT) is not your average summer professional learning destination. With this year’s theme, FIT 2018: EDUSCAPE Showcasing 21st Century Learning Environments, it has all that you’re looking for and more! From workshops and idea sessions about online safety, fighting fake news in the classroom, to improving comprehension in a tech-integrated environment, FIT is the place to be to re-wire and re-vamp your teacher brain this summer.

This professional learning destination is the place to be for teachers this summer as it will not just host 5 nor 10 fun and creative sessions, but more than 40 breakout sessions, each sporadically scheduled for your choosing—making this truly unlike any other. Aside from these, its roster of main keynote speakers are names to be ticked off in a teacher’s bucket list: from Ms. Gayle Rosen, a STEAM specialist from Nanyang Girls’ High School, Singapore; to Fr. Benigno Beltran, SVD, a Chief Learning Strategist from Sandiwaan Center for Learning; and Ms. Dina Ocampo, former DepEd Undersecretary and presently a professor at the University of the Philippines, each expert will be sharing their thoughts on how to create learning environments that will support the development of 21st century skills in students.

FIT 2018: EDUSCAPE will run for 3 jam-packed days from April 25 to April 27, 2018 at Xavier School, Nuvali in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Aside from the 3 keynote sessions from the speakers mentioned above, it will also include 6 expert podium talks, 4 makerspace camps, 11 idea sessions, and 29 workshop sessions. Below are more information about these unique program features, which are also available on the website.
