For the first time in 62 years, Easter Sunday coincides with April Fool’s Day!
First time in 62 years, ie since 1956, Easter Sunday and April Fool's Day falls on same day.
Since 1900, Easter has fallen on April Fool's Day only on five occasions – in 1923, 1934, 1945, 1956 and now in 2018. This phenomenon won't happen again until 2029!— Mohandas Menon (@mohanstatsman) March 31, 2018
Jesus may be back from the dead but the pranksters live on as well. This could be the messiest Easter Sunday we’ll ever have or the most wholesome April Fool’s Day ever. A friendly reminder: don’t trust anyone this April 1.
I’m not believing anyone tomorrow because I’m ready for those April Fools Day pranks

These two occasions falling on the same day only reminds us how everything is not right in this world.
Easter being on April fools day this year is just how you know everything is not right in the world smh lol

Evil exists even on a day like Easter Sunday, and who knows what might be hidden in those easter eggs.
I get that Easter falls on April fools, but this is just pure evil. pic.twitter.com/9qTMjCRwPA

But just to let you know, some are not into these April Fool’s joke and things can get a bit physical if you ever try to pull one on these people.
I’m just letting all my friends know in advance any April Fools joke you decide to play on me be prepared to catch these HANDS 🤷🏾♂️

Let this be a warning to those who will even try to mess with them:
i hate april fools so much & if anyone tries to mess with me we’re fighting
— al (@ahhhhlex_) March 30, 2018
Stay woke and don’t accept suspicious things from other people. Remember, everyone has an ulterior motive on April Fool’s. No one just gives free stuff without a “surprise” twist. (Please don’t ever disrespect doughnuts like this.)

Even grandmothers are not playin’ around this time.
MY GRANDMA IS A SAVAGE. I SAW HER PRINTING OUT $100 BILLS AND PUTTING THEM IN EASTER EGGS AND I LOOKED HER AT HER AND SHE WAS LIKE "Easter falls on a April fools day" 💀💀💀
— marina (@Mina_Dee21) March 30, 2018
Some are taking this day as an opportunity to make a move with their crush.
Oh hey it’s April Fools today. Good day for you to confess to your crush then go “hahaha April Fools!” If they turn you down.
— Maju lu sini albino (@Azfarovski) March 31, 2018
But as we always say, “landi at your own risk.”
And also, happy april fools! Hope yall dont fall for the “i have a crush on you” move.

People think that the reason why Easter and April Fool’s are on the same day, is because we’re about to witness the most epic prank of all time.
wow easter is on the same day as april fools day this year—who knows what jesus will do
— Shuja Haider (@shujaxhaider) March 29, 2018
Jesus: It is finished.
Satan: YES FINALLY I WON
Jesus: HAHA APRIL FOOLS, WHO WINS NOW

Having April Fools Day on Easter is great because making all your friends think you were dead for three days is a pretty epic prank.
— Parker Molloy (@ParkerMolloy) March 29, 2018
watch jesus actually come back to life on easter sunday just to leave again cuz it's april fools.
— Chris Ray Gun (@ChrisRGun) March 30, 2018
I love that Easter Sunday is April Fools day this year. It makes sense. I can imagine Jesus walking out of that cave after three days and being all like, 'Gotcha!'.
— Darren Hayes (@darrenhayes) March 28, 2018
#firstwordssaidafterbeingresurrected best. april. fools. day. ever.
— Jason Klingensmith (@klinger2069) March 31, 2018
But just like any other day, it will never be okay to prank people or joke about these sensitive matters.
April Fools Day and jokes in general are great and all but these pranks should never accepted:
•suicidal pranks
•disappearance pranks
•discriminatory, hateful pranks that dehumanise others
•pranks that result in damaging people’s property— Luke Loves Beardtan (@lukewaltham) March 30, 2018
April fools is coming. A reminder to not come out as LGBTQ+ for jokes.
— Stefani Lee (@princess_stef69) March 29, 2018
april fools day is coming up! that being said, don't jokingly break up with someone or jokingly ask someone out. and don't do any jokes that would harm someone or hurt them; whether it be emotionally or physically
— logan (@deathlylogan) March 25, 2018
Y’all, April fools day is coming up.There are people who can’t get pregnant and want to. Please don’t fake a pregnancy and think you’re cute
— Mackenzie McKee (@DouthitKenzie) March 25, 2018
So April fools day is coming up and I shouldn’t have to say this but DONT spike vegans or vegetarians with meat or animal products for a “joke” some of us can be quite ill if we’re given what we’re not used to.
— Avocadhoe Ⓥ (@itsallzara) March 29, 2018
The challenge is for people to get creative with their plans on April Fool’s without offending or harming anyone.
A quick reminder that on April Fool's day, think long and hard about your pranks. There are a bunch of wholesome and harmless jokes out there. Be creative. 🙂
— HHFB (@HHFlashbacks) March 29, 2018
And if you want to avoid these pranks, here’s a tip from the pros:
i always sleep in til noon on april fools day so that its a fail for anyone who tries to prank me
— Fajar Zahra (@fajarhussainxo) March 20, 2018
Or stay away from the biggest troll — the internet.
PSA: Tomorrow is April 1st. aka April Fool's Day aka the day I don't go on the internet.
See you Monday.
