Corporate “Core Values” are guiding principles of a company or institution that help define its conduct, within or beyond business setting, as well as how it wants people to perceive them as an organization. We often find these along with the institution’s Mission and Vision statement, written in a one-liner sentence or in an acronym format.
But we don’t always seem to stop and read these. So a medical center in Manila knew just what to put up as their Core Values that truly reflect what Pinoys want in life.
Tondo Medical Center knows how much Filipinos love unli-rice that it embraced it as an institution.

Their Core Values include: Understanding, Nationalistic, Loving and Compassionate, Innovative, Responsive Service, Integrity, Commitment and Dedication, and Excellence—spelling the term “UNLI RICE” in an acronym.
Some people think it was a brilliant way for people to always remember their Core Values and now TMC is their “kind of hospital” because, unli-rice is life, fam!
Others suggested not to show it to certain people who are known to oppose unli-rice.
We love unlimited rice so much that it shook the whole nation when Sen. Cynthia Villar said that it is unhealthy and sought “unli-rice ban” in restaurants.

For those who might doubt that the photo is edited, we checked TMC’s website and “UNLI RICE” is truly at the heart of their beliefs.
TMC, we see what you did there!
