‘Potterheads’ vandalized a 4,000 year-old megalithic tomb in Spain with ‘Deathly Hallows’ symbol

Fans of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series, better known as “Potterheads,” went way too far when they defaced a 4000-year-old megalithic tomb with a spray-painted vandal of the Deathly Hallows symbol along with the iconic line from the series: “Always”.

Hermione must be shaking her damn head seeing this.

The ancient monument is one of the top tourist attractions in Vigo, Galicia, Spain and is considered as a masterpiece of megalithic stone building in La Casa dos Mouros (“House of Moors”), referencing to African invaders many centuries ago. According to La Voz de Galicia, the prehistoric stone is located on a private property but is managed by the city council.

The spray-painted graffiti on the stone is recognized as the Deathly Hallows symbol in the Harry Potter series. It represents the “Cloak of Invisibility,” “The Resurrection Stone,” and the “Elder Wand”—which, if united, will make anyone who possess it the Master of Death.

According to the Mirror, the authorities are already investigating the incident, and the perpetrators could be looking at a fine of up to €150,000 (£130,000) if caught.

Clearly, someone is trying to expose the Wizarding World to the muggles and the Ministry of Magic must be alerted immediately.
