Singer-popstar Rihanna leaves fans with excitement and thrill as she is set to release her 9th Studio Album.
Rihanna expressed her feeling of ‘optimism’ with Harper’s Bazaar and said that this album release would be ‘unexpected.’ She added, “It’s not going to be commercial or radio-digestible. It’s going to be where my artistry deserves to be right now,” which left fans eager and ready to see what she has been preparing over the past years.
The pop superstar has finally cracked the code for an unexpected, long-delayed album release, knowing within herself that this is going to be something special. As of now, Rihanna says there is ‘no genre’—however, fans speculate that the album will be reggae-inspired, bringing back the essence of Rihanna’s 2018 era.
Rihanna opened up about the pressure she feels now that she has “finally cracked the code” for releasing her long-awaited album. After spending the past eight years in the studio, she felt the music didn’t fully align with her growth. Now, she believes this new direction “has to matter” and be worth the wait.
