Korean actor Kim Ji-soo returned to the entertainment industry after recently signing a new contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
Previously in 2021, Kim Ji-soo faced significant backlash and was canceled in South Korea due to bullying allegations and scandals that affected his public image and career. He then shared a handwritten letter of apology via his Instagram and went MIA and enlisted Korea’s mandatory military service.
Despite his return to the limelight, a lot of social media were displeased with the said move.
One user wrote, “Not a flex. He was canceled in Korea, so why are we picking up their trash? I used to like him, but the allegations made against him are horrible.”
Another user wrote, “Hayst. I wonder what those he bull1ed feels to see him still given a platform. They may feel invalidated for the pains they went through under his hands or for what they had to endure just to hold him accountable for his actions.”

Before his contract signing, Kim already starred in the GMA TV series “Black Rider.” He also plays Dr. Kim Young in the GMA drama “Abot Kamay na Pangarap.”
The actor is known for being part of popular Korean series such as “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo,” “Strong Girl Bong-soon,” and “Scarlet Heart.”
