K-Pop continues to gain traction in the global music and entertainment scene.

YG is definitely starting 2024 with a blast that could ignite people’s idol aspirations. The talent search is set to start on January 13, 2024 in South Korea’s largest island, Jeju. It will be followed by seven more cities in Korea including the country’s capital Seoul and Gwangju, Jeonju, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, and Wonju.

The audition will include a pre-registration and an on-site registration during the scheduled date. The official poster of the anticipated audition will include a QR code for the pre-registration as well. Meanwhile, on-site registration is available at YG’s declared place and time. More information regarding the upcoming National Audition can be accessed through YG’s social media platforms and official website.

The search for the next K-Pop star is open to any aspiring youth born between 2006 and 2013 and a resident of Korea. There are no gender or nationality qualifications, as of writing.

YG Entertainment seems bent on recreating its success with its current biggest group, BLACKPINK. The girl group, composed of Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa, dominated the music industry and were able to branch out individually as performers, actors, and endorsers.
