According to some fans, Del Rey was given the uniform and name tag by employees at the restaurant, and decided then to immerse herself into waiting tables.
One of the most successful singers of the decade, Del Rey has been keeping the record of top-charting albums and sold out shows and concerts, but she also maintains her low profile outside of her music career.
Being awarded Variety’s Artist of the Decade in 2021, she revealed, “I’m very flexible and what I’ve come to understand is that if you follow what you’re interested in, you’ll end up being the most creative in that field. Even if you get a 9-5 after you got the decade award, you need to do what feels right.”
