After the report that BTS member Jin was vaccinated by a female military nurse who made an unauthorized visit, many fans have been calling for the idol’s protection online.
According to a report, a military nurse from the 28th division left her post without getting permission to go to the 5th Division Recruit Training Center, where she vaccinated the popular K-pop singer. It was said that the military nurse left during her working hours.
Aside from the unauthorized vaccination, the military nurse was also suspected of distributing medication to the division without authorization.
However, this incident did not happen recently. This happened in January, and it was said that the military nurse has a connection with a medic from the division where Jin was.
The nurse provided Jin with the second vaccination against hemorrhagic fever in the afternoon that day.
The report added that, based on Article 79 of the Military Criminal Law, leaving one’s station without authorization is a violation, and offenders can be jailed for a year. It was said in the report that it was found out that the military nurse’s visit was unauthorized as her superiors were not informed that she left her station.
Following the report of this incident, many fans expressed their worry and called for the protection of the K-pop idol on Twitter. Many users expressed their hope for the singer’s safety. At the same time, many users online would like to hold the military nurse involved accountable for the incident.
Here are some made by the fans on Twitter:
I think both of them should be jailed, and nobody should be taking this lightly.
Please finish your investigation and give them the punishment required for such a serious crime. @ROK_MND @hellopolicy

I'm relieved that Jin is okay but this situation with the nurse should have never happened. The military should have had multiple checkpoints before an unauthorized person got that far. I hope justice is served and the nurse and anyone who aided her go to jail.

The fact that this happened last January, got investigated in March, but until now the person hasn't received any punishment is really concerning.
Yes, the vaccine given was right. BUT, the military nurse should be held accountable.
This should never happen again. Protect JIN. https://t.co/uN4qcnik0n
