The South Korean WLW drama everyone is waiting for won’t be happening anyway (maybe)

After all that hyping up from the actresses themselves? *cries*

ICYMI: “The Glory” actress Song Hye-kyo and “My Name” actress Han So-hee were supposed to team up for a mystery thriller drama, but it turns out they dropped the drama.

On May 17, 2023, News1 reported that Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee had both turned down their supposed roles in the drama, “The Price of Confession” following long talks about the production.

The actresses’ agencies have responded to media speculations, stating that they are currently in the process of checking the truth of the reports. Later reports mentioned that Song Hye-kyo, Han So-hee, and PD Shim Na-yeon (director of Beyond Evil) had disagreements with the production.

Interest in the drama had grown immensely after casting reports about the two actresses made waves on the Internet. Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee themselves have previously hinted at their drama team up through Instagram interactions in March this year, and the former had recently sent a coffee truck in support of the latter’s drama set.

Fans of the actresses were disappointed to hear of the news, with online users themselves beginning to speculate what happened when both actresses and renowned PD Shin Na-yeon decided to pull out of the drama.

With news surrounding the drama taking place, both Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee knew they had to somewhat “pacify” the confusion by once again, publicly showing their affection for one another.

Song Hye-kyo had posted an endorsement on her personal Instagram account, and Han So-hee had commented “Still mine” under it. And of course, everyone just ate that up, like? This is what we’re waiting for.

Obviously, we want a drama with the Song Hye-kyo and the Han So-hee. Can you imagine their power in just one drama? Like? HELLO.
