(G)I-DLE puts out ‘pre-release’ MV ahead of their comeback

Anticipation towards these five red diamonds is never-ending!

Quintet K-Pop girl group, (G)I-DLE, just released a music video for their song ‘Allergy’ on May 10 at 00:00 (KST), ahead of their official comeback which is scheduled on May 15th at 18:00 (KST).

It was launched on May 7 when the group posted a teaser on their social accounts with the caption, “I hate mirrors.”

The song will be part of their upcoming 6th mini album, ‘I Feel’, along with the title track, ‘Queencard’, and other tracks ‘Lucid’, ‘All Night’, ‘Paradise’, and ‘Young Adult’.

This will be their first comeback after 7 months, after the release of their 5th mini album, ‘I Love’, in October 2022.

(G)I-DLE has been establishing their name in the K-Pop scene with the success of their previous releases, ‘Tomboy’ and ‘Nxde,” both of which achieved a Perfect All-Kill (PAK), where they topped all real-time and daily music charts in South Korea, becoming the fourth group in history to have multiple PAKs within the same year, following Twice in 2016.

The group also topped Billboard’s “The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2022″ with their song ‘Tomboy,” saying that the song “gets top marks for showing that an artist trusting their voice and vision is what leads to pop brilliance.”

They are set to venture on their 2023 world tour, ‘I am FREE-TY’, starting on June 17 in Seoul and ending on August 17 in Chicago, traversing in 10 different cities with more cities to be announced.
