Autopsy report reveals Aaron Carter’s real cause and manner of death

The real reason behind the shocking death of Aaron Carter has been revealed. Based on a report from the Los Angeles County Coroner, the 34-year-old singer died due to drowning after Xanax and Huffing intake.

According to the investigation, the late musician and younger brother of Backstreet Boys member, Nick Carter was seen submerged underwater in his bathtub on November 5, 2022 in his home in Lancaster, California. At that time, though the real cause of his death was not yet proven, policemen clarified that there was no evidence of foul play.

In a toxicology report conducted by Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner on Tuesday which was obtained by the USA Today, it was revealed that the younger Carter passed away due to the presence of difluoroethane, a substance used for electronic devices that can give feelings of euphoria when inhaled, and alprazolam, the generic type of Xanax that can give depressant effects like sedation.

Carter started his musical career at the age of nine when he first opened for his older brother’s group, Backstreet Boys. In 1999, he recorded his first song on the same Jive Records label that led his brother to fame. Later on, he released his first two albums ‘Aaron’s Party (Come and Get It)’ in 2000 and ‘Oh Aaron’ in 2001 followed by a mega tour that ended in Denver in 2002.

The pop musician released five studio albums with several tracks, including his massive hit, ‘Crush on You’ that appeared on Billboard’s charts. In 2011, Carter returned to the New York City stage to play Matt in Broadway’s ‘The Fantasticks’ with his performance extended due to popular demand. His final album before passing, entitled ‘LØVË’, was released in 2018.

Moving to his personal life, Carter got engaged with her girlfriend, Melanie Martin in June, 2020. After a year, they had their son, Princeton. However, the couple had a conflict, and it was reported that they were not living together when the singer was found lifeless. The pop star was also open about his experiences with drug and substance abuse and tried to undergo rehab in an attempt to get back his son’s custody.
