Fans ‘go crazy’ over TREASURE’s first solo concert in Manila, ‘HELLO’

TREASURE had their fans “going crazy” over their energy-packed concert in Manila!

On April 14, Treasure Makers (TEUMEs) got to meet their idols again as the South Korean boyband came back for a 2-day concert for their “TREASURE TOUR: HELLO” in Manila. The band visited the country with other K-pop stars in July 2022 for their successful gig, “2022 K-Pop Masterz in Manila.” The group returned to the country only after nine months, and this time, for a solo concert show.

Jihoon, Yoshi, Choi Hyun Suk, Junkyu, Yoon Jae Hyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeong Woo, and So Jung Hwan conquered the Manila stage again and opened the show with the banger song, “Jikjin,” which was then followed by “Boy” and “I love you.”

The crowd even went wilder as they shook the ground while jamming to “Going Crazy,” “Come To Me,” and “B.L.T.”

After a couple of songs, TREASURE officially introduced themselves and welcomed Filo TEUMEs to their concert. Some members even greeted their fans in Filipino, saying “mabuhay.”

TREASURE also knew how to make their fans’ hearts skip a beat. Each of the members let out their cheesy Filipino pick-up lines in their own cute accents. “Ano ulit pangalan mo? Pwede ba mine na lang?,” Jeongwoo said. Meanwhile, Junkyu did a bit of aegyo before throwing these lines, “TEUME, Apoy ka ba? Kasi ALAByu.” Doyoung, sounding like a Filipino ‘conyo’ as many fans say, said, “TEUME, mamaya date tayo sa Manila Baywalk.”

Just when you think that’s all they’ve got in store to make their fans feel “kilig,” some members also danced to IKON’s “Rythm Ta” and showed off their body rolls. And absolutely, TEUMEs weren’t ready when Jihoon lifted his shirt up, revealing his well-defined abs.

In one of their breaks, the group also mentioned how they wanted to experience Manila by visiting places like Manila Bay and eating Filipino dishes like Adobo.

TREASURE also performed some of their crowd-favorite songs such as “CLAP!,” “Thank You,” “VolKno,” “My Treasure,” and “MMM.” Of course, the loudest cheer came on when the band played the TikTok viral song, “DARARI.”

The K-pop stars had a 30–minute long encore which they concluded with “DARARI (rock remix),” “HELLO,” and song remix of “GOING CRAZY,” “B.L.T,” and “Orange.” In the middle of their last stage, Filo TEUMEs surprised the G.O.A.T. rappers, Haruto and Hyunsuk, who are celebrating their birthdays this April, with a happy birthday song and a cake on stage.
