‘Murder Mystery 2’ co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler were in total shock after learning that Dylan and Cole Sprouse are now 30 years old.
The 56-year-old Sandler worked with Sprouse brothers in 1999 for the theatrical hit, ‘Big Daddy’ where he played the character of Sonny Koufax, who adopts 5-year-old Julian ‘Frankenstien’ McGrath played by the twin brothers.
A year later, Cole Sprouse worked with Aniston in the American sitcom ‘Friends’. The actor, who was eight years old at that time, played the role of Ben, the son of Ross Geller, played by David Schwimmer, while the 54-year-old actress took the character of Rachel Green. The two started working on the screen from season six until season eight of the said series.
After his successful stint in ‘Friends’, Cole evolved into a famous child star as more and more projects came along his way, including Disney’s ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ together with his twin brother, Dylan.
In a recent interview for Sandler and Aniston’s upcoming film, ‘Murder Mystery 2’, TV host Kit Hoover mentioned that Cole had a huge crush on Aniston back when they were filming the series together. Hoover added the twins’ age now, which made the two left in awe.
“What?,” both stars shouted when they were told that the brothers turned 30 last year.
“That’s hilarious,” Sandler said, before taking a sip of his beverage.
“No, no they’re not!,” Aniston added.
Sandler even quipped that he knew what the kids were capable of, so he set the table for them to hop on ‘Friends’. He said that Aniston told him this when he first met her: “Will you please break in the children for us?”
Meanwhile, the actress also expressed her confusion after knowing that Cole had a crush on her at a very young age.
“But he was so little!,” she uttered.
In an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Cole revealed Aniston as his childhood crush.
“I was teased a little bit by the crew, because they saw it. I would just forget, and be looking at her. But then, the whole world had a crush on Jennifer Aniston,” he confessed.
Yes, Cole. We definitely agree with you!
