All-rounder musician Gaho is now back with an album that seems like a musical film!
On March 20, Gaho released his 2nd mini album, titled ‘Diamond.’ The tracks included in the album stimulate listeners’ imaginations, with the combination of an elegant ‘feels’ it gives off and colorful images which create a specialty like a six-chapter musical film.
“Diamond” has a total of six songs, including the pop-based ballad title track “Love Me,” “Beautiful Night” which has been pre-released as a single, “Intro,” “Love Me” and “Only You” with ‘mood sounds, “Diamond,” a song filled with pleasant excitement, and “Lonely,” which expresses lonely emotions through an acoustic guitar sound.
The title track, “Love Me,” has an old-fashioned mood reminiscent of a classic movie. Gaho’s soft and delicate vocals express the emotion of the song, which is all about living a perfect life but not achieving love and feeling empty.
As an all-rounder musician that he is, Gaho himself composed, wrote, arranged, and produced all the songs, with the concept of gratitude in mind to all the listeners of his album. Raising the value of the album further, he tells a story of a man, who, in spite of possessing a lot of things in his life, has lost his love. The man then tried to recall the colorful part of his life before feeling that way, and tried to express his love with a mournful heart, but was still eventually left alone.
The recently released music video teaser starts with the sound of an a cappella showing Gaho spending a happy time walking on the streets of France. At the end of the video, the singer is seen conducting alone in an empty area, raising questions about what the story will be in the music video that’s about to be released.
Meanwhile, Gaho is also set to hold his solo concert, ‘Diamond’, which has the same title as his mini album, on March 25th, 6pm, at Nodeul Island Live House. The concert will be a great opportunity to hear the songs from his new mini album live.
