With hits like ‘MASCARA’ and ‘SHOOTING STAR,’ XG celebrated its first anniversary on March 18. Managed by XGALX, the group has an outstanding trajectory and stage presence to conquer fans worldwide since its debut with the single ‘Tippy Toes’ on March 2022.
The most recent comeback, ‘SHOOTING STAR,’ reinforced the message conveyed by XG: music is a universal language beyond geographic barriers. The MV of the single has more than 32 million views while the b-side ‘LEFT RIGHT’ has surpassed 14 million views on YouTube.
With ‘LEFT RIGHT,’ XG became the first Japanese group to be included on the “Mediabase Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart,” the most important radio ranking in the United States. Though considered a rookie group, the name XG is already linked to success by thousands of fans worldwide.
With songs in up to three languages, it is a mistake to assume that JURIN, CHISA, HARVEY, HINATA, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA have a short path in their career. To celebrate XG’s anniversary, the group released the teaser of a documentary telling the seven members’ five-year training.
