Rosas: The Song. The Journey — a heartfelt documentary about the song that inspired millions

“Rosas” by singer-songwriter Nica del Rosario, theater actress Gab Pangilinan, and produced by Rap Sanchez, is a song that has captured the hearts of many Filipinos. The song has taken on a new meaning in which it quickly became an anthem of hope for the supporters of former presidential candidate Atty. Leni Robredo

In order to immortalize the spirit of volunteerism and nationalism during the past campaign period, “Rosas: The Song. The Journey” was created. It is a documentary that traces the story of “Rosas” from its inception as a song to its impact on people’s lives, both as a work of art and as a symbol of hope for a better future.

The documentary is a joint project by FlipMusic Productions and Happy House Manila and will be available for exclusive premiere only at Estancia Mall, Cinema 1 (Ortigas, Pasig City) on February 25, 2023. Access to the documentary will only be available to those who donate through The Spark Project, a crowdfunding platform for creative projects as there will be no live ticket selling/cinema tickets available through Estancia Mall during the event itself.

Through the aid of the funds raised via The Spark Project, the team behind the documentary hopes to extend its reach to a larger audience, aiming to inspire and empower Filipinos, particularly the younger generation. The film endeavors to encourage individuals to persevere in their pursuit of their aspirations, and to exhibit bravery and a strong sense of advocacy for what is right and just, in their own unique ways. With the primary objective to motivate Filipino’s to never give up on their dreams and to have the courage to stand up for their beliefs. By showcasing the inspiring story of “Rosas,” the team hopes to demonstrate the power of art and music in inspiring positive change, and to instill a sense of hope and inspiration in the hearts of its viewers.

The team would also like to express their gratitude to those who have already donated through The Spark Project, but as the deadline for donations draws near, they continue to encourage supporters to donate towards the release of “Rosas: The Song. The Journey.” Currently, at least 84% of the project has been funded, but with only a day left before the campaign ends, the opportunity to be a part of a documentary that celebrates the transformative power of music is still open. Donating to the cause offers a unique chance to support a project that aims to inspire and unite people by showcasing the impact of music on individuals and communities. The team hopes that through this film, they can encourage others to take part in advocating for positive change and to promote a sense of hope and unity in the country.
