MTV Pinoy embarks on the 2016 MTV VJ Hunt

It is lit, fam- the MTV VJ Hunt is back! Yes, the world’s favorite music channel is looking for the most interesting personalities to join the growing MTV Pinoy VJ roster!

Do you eat, sleep and breathe music and pop culture? If you’re aged 16 to 25, speak English and Filipino well, a self-proclaimed social media maven and have the attitude and swag to be part of a long line of awesome MTV VJs, then this is your chance to show us what you got. (Plus points if you can belt out a tune or dance the Trumpets challenge!)

The 2016 MTV VJ Hunt kicks off with auditions on August 13 at Glorietta. Other auditions will be held at Alabang Town Center and Trinoma (dates TBA). Featuring live performances by top music artists like Pupil, Hale, Quest, The Juans, Sugar N Spice, SUD, and more!

Already in its 8th year, MTV VJ Hunt’s previous winners include KC Montero, Belinda Panelo, Derek Ramsay, Colby Miller, Kat Alano, and Andi9 Manzano. Winners of the last VJ Hunt were Chris Schneider, Aryanna Epperson, and Kito Romualdez. They joined current VJs Yassi Pressman, Sam Pinto, Shy Carlos, Andre Paras, and Josh Padilla as hosts of the various top-rating programs on MTV Pinoy. MTV Pinoy is seen nationwide on Skycable (channel 71), Cignal (channel 80), Destiny Cable (71 digital/45 analog), Dream (channel 9), and Cablelink (channel 7).
