Girl in a jacket

People commend this girl’s food delivery life hack and we also want to try it

For people who always find it hard to sleep at night, one of the struggle they encounter is having late-night cravings. The good thing is, we are blessed to have 24/7 food delivery services that will feed our crazy desire to eat chicken nuggets in the middle of the night.

But when you find yourself hungry in the middle of the night, the only problem is you might wake people who are fast asleep when the delivery guy arrives.

Twitter user @mariaydulz shared the ingenious hack she thought of so the arrival of the food delivery won’t bother her sleeping mom.

When she ordered online from a fast-food chain’s website, she included a special instruction for the delivery guy to text her when he arrives so her sleeping mom won’t wake up. She was on the second floor of their house so she thought of using a basket (a laundry hamper, actually) to collect her food from the delivery guy.

People commended how the delivery guy gladly complied and was just cool about the instruction.

Some were inspired and wanted to try the same thing:

This really seems like something we should try on our next late-night food delivery.

Also, we’re eternally grateful to delivery men who always save us from our late-night cravings!
