Dogs prevent dad from throwing Christmas tree away because the holidays aren’t over

If you think dogs can’t love the holidays more than humans, you’re probably wrong. Some dogs are just as festive as we are and they’re just not ready to say goodbye to Christmas yet.

In a now viral post on Facebook, Erin Sharkey Graham shared a hilarious video of her husband’s struggle when he was trying get rid of their old Christmas tree in Bella Vista, Arkansas, US. With more than 32 million views, it definitely made a lot of people feel the “Christmas spirit” again.

“So I asked my husband to toss the old Christmas tree during the cleanup efforts and noticed it was taking a REALLY long time… then I look out and see this struggle going down…” Erin said in her post.

In the video, her husband, David Graham, was having a hard time throwing their old Christmas tree as their two dogs bit the other end of the tree — attempting to pull it away from him. It was a hilarious tug-of-war scene and the dogs were winning over him as he took a few tumbles and fell onto his back.

David tried his best to get a grip of the tree and managed to toss it over the fence. One of the dogs — clearly appalled that their precious tree is now out of their reach — even tried to jump over the fence and looked at where it was thrown.

Seriously, human, just put back the damn tree. These doggos are clearly still not over the holidays yet. We can extend Christmas.
