Universal Pictures has just released the teaser poster art of its upcoming “cybernatural” thriller “Unfriended.”
Ushering in a new era of horror, “Unfriended” unfolds over a teenager’s computer screen as she and her friends are stalked by an unseen figure who seeks vengeance for a shaming video that led a vicious bully to kill herself a year earlier.
The found-footage supernatural suspense thriller is directed by Levan Gabriadze, written by Nelson Greaves and produced by Timur Bekmambetov (“Wanted”) and Jason Blum (“Insidious” and “Paranormal Activity” franchise).
The film stars Shelley Hennig, Renee Olstead, Courtney Halverson, Jacob Wysocki, Will Peltz, Moses Jacob Storm and Heather Sossaman.
Opening across the Philippines on April 29, 2015, “Unfriended” is distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.
