‘Got7StillAlive’: Is GOT7 hinting for a comeback?

After leaving JYPE in January 2021, fans hadn’t heard anything from GOT7… until recently.

JYP Entertainment launched GOT7 in 2014, debuting its first boy group since 2PM in 2008. They are known to incorporate b-boying styles and martial arts in their performances which drew a comparison to the latter group, hence, was coined “post 2PM”.

GOT7 comeback

Nevertheless, the group has proven their talent and rose to fame shortly after the release of their debut single “Girls Girls Girls” which peaked at the second spot on the Gaon Album chart and Billboard’s World Albums Chart in 2014.

The group’s popularity has increased since then. However, in January 2021, the group decided to leave their label, JYPE, and focus on their solo careers for the rest of the year. Through their Instagram stories, all seven members of the group posted “ENCORE<3” to reassure the Ahgases (GOT7 fandom) that they are not disbanded and will reunite soon.

Fast forward to today and GOT7 is still alive.

On February 20, sneaky fans were quick to notice that GOT7’s new YouTube channel’s link had been changed to “GOT7StillAlive”.

The group’s YouTube channel was untouched for a whole year, so it is pretty much obvious if they do some changes.

Prior to this change, there were also other numerous instances in which the group may have low-key dropping hints about their comeback.

From GOT7’s official “Spoiler King”, BamBa’s interview where he was asked about the group during his album online showcase…

To other members of the group’s cover-up statements…

The Ahgases have also noticed that all seven members’ individual YT channels have now been listed to the group’s main channel.

Whether these changes are intentional or not, the growth of these speculations is now rising.

And whether it is happening or not, the Ahgases will forever be waiting!
