Are you single and ready to mingle, but also tired of the current mingling scene? Maybe you’re tired of waiting for your friends to set you up with someone you don’t already know, or your fingers are tired from swiping left. Here is an app that might add some more color into your dating (and friend-making) life.
Allow me to introduce you to the dating and friend-making app: Monet.

In 2020, 4 friends decided to spice up the online dating scene by creating a dating and friend-making app where you can flex your personality not only through profile prompts but through drawing prompts and fire drawings as well.

The creators went viral on TikTok and their app blew up, allowing them to take a break from college and focus on the development of Monet.
@joinmonet Some crazy stats! Thanks for all the support and so happy to help y’all find love 🥰#fyp #art #dating ♬ original sound – Monet
Monet is currently available only on the Apple App store, but they already have a waitlist ready for Android users.
Since Monet is fairly new and created by people aboard, there aren’t many people from the Philippines who are currently on it. But why not try out some long-distance friendships and romantic relationships, or try setting the trend of having it blow up here in the Philippines? It doesn’t matter if you’re a fine arts major or a stick figure master, as long as you express yourself in the most creative way possible.
Instead of a “hi wyd” send over the most creative and colorful drawing you can. Every convo might just have you saying “Okay, I like it, Picasso”.
