On January 31 – February 05, AIESEC in the Philippines hosted their first National Conference for 2022 with the theme Roots & Routes. With the common goal of refreshing their understanding of leadership in the context of the Philippines’ current social needs and discovering ways to develop personally while impacting the community, AIESECers from the nine Local Chapters had come together to learn to reinvent themselves in the new normal.
The week-long conference showcased four major sessions, patterned after Autumn, Spring, Winter, and Summer, with each of the Country Directors sharing their experiences in braving through adversities, especially during the pandemic. A keynote session was also delivered by Vote Pilipinas on responsible and informed voting this coming May 2022 elections.
With the gathering of AIESECers from nine different local chapters and over 300 registered delegates nationwide, everyone has found ways to reinvent themselves and gain a new perspective on what it means to be a leader and an AIESECer.
