Lenovo’s LanSchool Air classroom management software now in the PH

LanSchool Air helps teachers guide learning on digital devices, improve student engagement and maximize teaching time.

Lenovo’s LanSchool recently announced that its cloud-based classroom management softwareLanSchool Air, is now available for schools in the Philippines. LanSchool has provided a leading classroom management software in the education technology space for over 30 years, serving over 12 million customers in 75 markets.

LanSchool Air helps teachers connect with students within a digital space to create more meaningful online experiences, both in the classroom and remotely. It includes features to help monitor and protect student devices, enabling communication and screen sharing, and providing device management to help guide learning, promote collaboration, and maximize teaching time. Top features include screen monitoring, limit web, blank screen, messaging, and push website. With LanSchool Air, educators can help improve student engagement, teach digital citizenship, and provide an immersive learning environment.

“For the past year, LanSchool has helped educators maintain education continuity during the pandemic with our cloud-based classroom management software,” said Michael Ngan, Lenovo Philippines President and General Manager. “LanSchool Air offers streamlined deployment, decreased IT admin workloads, and convenient maintenance and support. We are proud to now extend these same benefits to our partners and educators in the Philippines.”

Schools across The Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific have already adopted the self-hosted version of the software, LanSchool Classic, which is available in over 15 languages including English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Arabic, Korean, Hebrew, Japanese, Portuguese, Italian, Hungarian, Serbian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Indonesian, and Brazilian Portuguese. The addition of the new cloud-based LanSchool Air, which is fully hosted and managed by LanSchool, gives schools a quick and easy path to classroom management software adoption. Additionally, the cloud-based software provides flexibility and reduces management overhead as schools scale, accelerate the adoption of new technology, and continue to incorporate distance learning into their teaching models.

“2020 was an unprecedented year in education. Remote learning quickly moved from being a futuristic option to a necessity for schools,” said Rich Henderson, Director of Global Education Solutions in Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group. “LanSchool Air’s expansion to Asia Pacific, provides educators access to a cloud-based award-winning classroom management solution and a reliable partner in continuing to create meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom.”

A free, 30-day trial of LanSchool Air is available for schools that may be interested in learning more.
