The Wonder Years share nostalgic holiday single ‘Threadbare’

November 25th, 2021 – Singapore – For the first time in thirteen years, The Wonder Years have released a brand new Christmas song called “Threadbare”. The track evokes imagery of a respite from forlornness, celebrating the warmth and love of the season. Devoid of traditional bells and whistles, “Threadbare” is vulnerable, honest, and not sugary sweet – it breaks your heart and warms it at the same time. Fans can stream the song here: ffm.to/threadbare

What The Wonder Years have done so effortlessly over the course of their career, and most recently on their last album ‘Sister Cities‘, is no small feat; through poetic lyricism, ambient guitar swells, and Death Cab-levels of crashing momentum, the Philadelphia-based group truly transforms. Whereas they once sang of the plagues of growing up, they now take a massive, unexpected leap forward both sonically and thematically, now speaking confidently to the world at large.
