All 3 NCT units are nominated at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards for one award

Awards show season is almost here in the K-Pop/K-Drama world, and K-Pop stans are more than ready to start voting for their faves to win different awards. K-Pop fans are known to have a widespread influence with regards to voting, and honestly, they’re a force to reckon with.

One of these awards shows is the Asia Artist Awards, which is organized by South Korean-based business newspaper Money Today and the global media brands StarNews and MTN. The show will be held on December 2 at the KBS Arena Hall, and the hosts for this year’s AAA will be Super Junior’s Leeteuk (his 6th year hosting the show) and former IZ*ONE member Jang Won-young.

One of the awards presented in this show is the “Popularity Award” and a lot of fans are always clamoring for their faves to win it each year, especially if they were announced to be one of the nominees. Since the award is determined through fan voting, fans can get a little intense (well, little is an understatement).

This year, NCTzens are conflicted with who to vote, thanks to every NCT unit (NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV) being nominated for the “Popularity Award”. Member Doyoung had also been nominated (solo) for the “Popularity Award” under the Male Actor category.

NCTzens are divided with their decisions on which group to vote for, considering that each unit had their best year yet with their 2021 releases—WayV with their EP “Kick Back”, NCT DREAM with the first studio album “Hot Sauce” and repackaged album “Hello Future”, and NCT 127 with “Sticker” and their upcoming repackaged album “Favorite”. NCT isn’t even done with their activities for this year, with fans anticipating “NCT 2021” promotions in the 4th quarter of 2021.

Here’s how some NCTzens have been reacting to all NCT units being nominated for the same award.
