In early October, it was announced that Kingdom Hearts’ protagonist Sora would be a part of Smash Bros Ultimate. Since then, Kingdom Hearts has been a trending topic on Twitter, and that has spawned hilarious Gen-Z-type tweets about the franchise.

Besides Sora joining Smash Bros. Ultimate, another reason why Kingdom Hearts has been trending is because of a recent announcement that the main KH trilogy would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. This would allow for more people to be acquainted with the somewhat strange but beloved mix of Disney characters and the Square Enix RPG world.
