Genshin Impact Twitter goes wild over a brand-new character’s reveal

Genshin Impact fans have been in a state of burnout for a while now, and it’s been evident prior to the release of MiHoYo’s anniversary rewards. Many players have not been grinding in the game for the longest time, and the new storylines seem to not have the same impact as when they were initially leaked.

And so, when MiHoYo suddenly dropped and revealed the brand-new characters that fans have been looking forward to for the longest time, Genshin Impact Twitter suddenly resurrected. In a day’s time, Genshin Impact’s special character banner will be featuring a long-time fan favorite who was also recently given a re-run—the Eleventh Harbringer from Snezhnaya, Tartaglia. But that event seems to have been overlooked by fans thanks to the reveal of two new characters.

MiHoYo posted 4 new updates on Genshin Impact’s social media accounts—2 for each new character. The first new character revealed is “The First and Greatest Head of the Arataki Gang”, Arataki Itto, who is a Geo vision holder and a claymore user.

The second character revealed had already been seen in the older patches of the game (specifically 2.0) and had been anticipated for a while now, “General of the Watatsumi Army”, Gorou, who is also a Geo vision holder and a bow user.

Fans have been looking forward to an exciting new release from MiHoYo and Genshin Impact for a while now (thanks to the lack of leaks), and it looks like they all got what they wanted and more, especially with the reveal of Arataki Itto.

In fact, Genshin Impact Twitter was suddenly filled with those kinds of Tweets, if you know what I mean.

Genshin Impact Twitter has been well-fed today, everyone say “thank you, MiHoYo!”
