MIDZYs go “LOCO” as ITZY makes sudden comeback with a full album

MIDZYs were certainly not ready for this.

Just soon after their latest single, “In The Morning” from their EP “Guess Who” in the earlier half of the year, ITZY will soon drop their very first full studio album this September 24, 2021. The 5-member girl group and their label JYP Entertainment announced this on their official social media accounts, along with a comeback poster announcing the album’s title track on August 13, 2021 at 12 M.N. KST.

Their first full album, named “CRAZY IN LOVE” with the lead single “LOCO”, marks ITZY’s successful return after their promotions of their last EP “Guess Who”. During this time, this 5-member girl group debuted in the Billboard 200 list at number 148—their very first appearance in the list.

ITZY had also released the English version of “In the Morning” last May 14, 2021, and recently teamed up with Second Aunt Kim DaVi (Kim Shin-Young) for a special summer collaboration single, “Break Ice” produced by CONTENTS LAB VIVO last July 1, 2021.

On the same day, ITZY and JYP Entertainment revealed more details for the girl group’s studio album and opened pre-orders for it as well.

As surprised as they were in the girl group’s unexpected announcement earlier in the day, MIDZYs were even more shocked at the number of versions the album would have—6. Topics about ITZY and their first full album like “ITZY 1st album”, “6 VERSIONS”, and “CRAZYINLOVE”  reached Twitter’s top trending list.

Here are some of MIDZYs’ reactions to this sudden and out of the blue announcement:
