One exclusive thing when it comes to K-pop idol groups is that the members are given the chance to pursue their solo careers while being a part of a group. There are quite a lot of Korean idols that have already succeeded in their solo careers and one of the latest idols who will pursue this path is BLACKPINK’s youngest member, Lisa.
‘LISA SOLO SOON’ has been trending on Twitter as fans of Lisa are hyped about her upcoming solo debut. BLACKPINK’s fans or Blinks expressed on Twitter their excitement for the solo debut of the main dancer and rapper of the group.
After speculations about Lisa’s possible solo debut going around in Korean media, BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment finally confirmed that the idol will be making her solo debut this summer, and that she is already preparing to film the music video for her song.

YG Entertainment previously announced that Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo will make their own solo debut after the release of their first full-length album entitled ‘THE ALBUM’. Lisa will be the third member of the group who will debut as a solo artist, following Rosé who released her debut single album ‘R’ last March’, and Jennie who made her solo debut in 2018 with ‘SOLO’.
Aside from this, the four members of BLACKPINK are preparing to celebrate their upcoming fifth anniversary with the ‘4+1 PROJECT’. This includes a film entitled BLACKPINK: The Movie as a gift to their supportive fans. Moreover, they will also release a Japanese version of ‘THE ALBUM’.
