Lorde has released yet another teaser for her upcoming album “Solar Power.” The 24-year-old singer shared a 21-second video clip titled “Solstice,” on her website, where she is seen chilling at the beach. The teaser was dropped right before the official start of summer – or summer solstice – which occurred at 11:31pm last June 20, Eastern time.
Fans were already hyped up about the new teaser before it was even released, with some speculating that the singer might drop a new single or even the highly-anticipated album in time for summer solstice.

lorde did say to look out for astrology signs and now she's dropping a new single tomorrow which is "solstice" since the summer solstice will be at 5:31 am est tmrw.

However, while Lorde has already shared the “Solstice” teaser, as of now there hasn’t been any new single released, and there’s still no confirmed release date for the album. The solstice has already passed, but fans are still waiting to see if the singer will be sharing any more updates about the new teaser or the upcoming album.

Earlier this month, Lorde released the single “Solar Power”. A few days before the single was released, she shared a teaser for it along with the single art, which features her walking on a beach with no pants on. The single art was shared on her website, with the caption “ARRIVING IN 2021 … PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.” The song was released with a music video giving off summer vibes, co-directed by Lorde and Joel Kefali.

“Solar Power” is Lorde’s highly-anticipated follow-up album to “Melodrama,” which was released back in 2017. Her upcoming album doesn’t have an official release date yet, but on her website she hinted that it will be released within the year.
