ENRICH: Entrepreneurial Resilience in Changing Times

With all the uncertainty brought about by the pandemic, two organizations have managed to shine a light to a future path with ENRICH: Entrepreneurial Resilience in Changing Times. Spearheaded by De La Salle University’s ENGLICOM and Junior Entrepreneurs’ Marketing Association (JEMA), this 3-day event aimed to help all those who are experiencing difficult business situations due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. There will be three (3) awaited events with very distinct topics: a case competition, designed to boost the entrepreneurial wit of participants and two (2) webinars consisting of four (4) successful speakers, who’ve made it apparent that it is possible to become entrepreneurially resilient during these times.

ENRICH

Picture the Future: Family Businesses in the New Normal, the webinar to be held on April 23, will feature Mr. Jimmy Yaokasin and Mr. Enrique Soriano, both of whom have first hand stories about being family business owners. They will share about the effects of the pandemic that they have experienced, practical lessons about proper business management and new found knowledge on how to be adaptive to business situations.

SustainaBeauty: Social Enterprises for Selfless Success, the succeeding webinar that will be on April 24, will feature Mr. Jon Gancayco and Miss Rosalina Tan, both of whom will share awareness on relevant social advocacies, insights about the importance of social innovation, lessons about company sustainability and strategic skills to have sustainable as well as a successful business.

To top off the event, a case competition will be held on May 8, entitled “Entrepreneurs’ Cup: Conquering Challenges” Case Competition where the team to get 3rd place, 2nd place and 1st place all win cash prizes that is Php 5,000, Php 7,500, Php 10,000, respectively. Show off your analytical skills, creativity and entrepreneurial resilience in this Entrepreneurs’ Cup.

The primary goal of ENRICH is to help fuel the passion of the new generation to continue pursuing new ideas and discovering new trends in entrepreneurship this time of pandemic. The battle that our economy is facing is very real, just like the battle that our medical field is fighting. ENRICH is looking forward to seeing a new horizon in entrepreneurship in this unique time and starting to cast a larger vision in our field as we slowly enter into the post-pandemic world!
