Jamie Lynn Spears calls out Elon Musk for Tesla ‘killing her cats’

Jamie Lynn Spears says that Elon Musk owes her “a couple cats” after claiming that Tesla cars are “secret cat killers.”

The former Nickelodeon starlet recently took to her Instagram story to call out Musk for his apparently problematic silent Teslas. Spears stated that she’s lost too many cats because she keeps accidentally running over them. She suggested that Tesla should update their cars where it makes at least enough noise to alert animals who may be hiding under the vehicle. At the end of the video, the 29-year-old actress said that although there is some user error involved, she and Musk should work together to save some cats’ lives.

“The Tesla is a secret cat killer, and it’s a problem that we really gotta fix,” Spears states in the video.

Some users were able to save the now deleted video, which is now being reposted on Twitter. Spears was soon caught under scrutiny for her immature behavior.

News flash: all responsible drivers know that you should bang the bottom of your car before revving up your engine — regardless of your car’s brand. It saves all animals who may be taking shelter underneath.
