PH public health history, featured in UP LIKAS’ free conference this October

UP Lipunang Pangkasaysayan (UP LIKAS) proudly invites you to the 29th National Conference on October 24, October 30, and November 7 via Pambansang Kumperensiya Facebook live and through the National Quincentennial Committee Portal.

Discover the origins and history of medicine and public health in the Philippines through the theme “Hunágay: Contextualizing Health in Filipino History and Culture”. The 3-day conference will be graced by experts and academics from various fields. Important issues in the Philippines during the current pandemic will also be brought to light.

Even under the new normal, UP LIKAS continues to uphold its goal to advocate a critical and more relevant study of history as a discipline and a social science. The 29th national conference will also be historic because for the first time, it will be held online and REGISTRATION IS FREE.

Sign up now and learn about the history of Philippine health!
