An annual event of UP CAST, Castellations aims to promote the growing consciousness of Philippine cinema to a broader audience by showcasing award-winning films produced by the organization’s members and alumni, while enjoying Filipino music. This year, Castellations does not only continue to promote the development of Philippine cinema, but also advocates for a quality and accessible education for all students, where there are #NoStudentLeftBehind and an #AccessForAll. More than an avenue for film and music, CASTELLATIONS 30 also serves as a fundraising event for two local foundations: Load a Dream Foundation, an initiative led by the youth of Brgy. San Antonio I, San Pablo City, Laguna, to help those with little to no resources in coping with online classes; and ALCADEV Inc., an alternative learning system for the indigenous youth of Caraga Region, Mindanao.
Catch the virtual live show for free on August 30-31, 2020 at 7pm through UP CAST’s Facebook page.
