The Core Philippines has successfully held its 4th Core PH Conference (CoreCon) at Araullo High School in Manila last November 30. Bannering the theme of “Leading the Champions,” various student leaders of different public high schools of the city received community-centered teachings and training by the organization.
Chairman Ryan R. Enriquez of the National Youth Commission (NYC) graced the event by delivering his keynote speech. While the Role of the Youth in Peacebuilding by Director Pamela Ann Padilla-Salvan of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) and Vocational Courses and Alternatives to College by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region IV Director Vincent Aljohn Cifra were the main topics discussed during the plenary discussions.
“The people who built Core PH met in an event just like this,” said Jose Maria Rafael Taylo, President and CEO of the organization. “Ever since then, that has been the battle cry of our team–that the next generations could uncover too their advocacy in life and continue the quest
for positive change.”
