Pre-select your road playlists
Everyone knows that driving feels ten times better when you’re able to sing along to your favorite tunes. So, create a playlist of songs you’d like to hear (and possibly sing-along-to) during the drive.
If you’re feeling extra creative, you can even make multiple playlists to suit every possible mood you may have during the trip. Or if you’re traveling with family or friends, you can also take turns in playing each other’s playlists.
Pack your snacks in reusable containers
In every road trip, it’s inevitable that you’ll consume a lot of snacks and chips. But instead of simply stuffing the bags of chips in your car, take the time to unbag the food items and place them in a reusable container.
By doing this, you’ll be able to reduce the trash that you’ll be accumulating while on the road. How’s that for reducing waste!
Plan road games
Don’t make “I Spy” your go-to game when you’re on the road. Instead, make it a point to select fun games that you and your companions can enjoy while on the road. Try playing games like 21 Questions or compete in your own version of Carpool Karaoke.
