The UP Industrial Engineering Club will continue promoting efficiency and effectiveness through the second ergonomics convention, Ergonomics Convention 2018 (ErgoCon 2018): Redefining Design, to be held on January 27 at the National Institute of Physics, University of the Philippines – Diliman.
ErgoCon 2018 gathers outstanding students and young professionals nationwide. Participants are introduced to the ubiquitous role of ergonomics through interactive workshops facilitated by experts. This pioneering convention creates an avenue for the youth to engage in dynamic activities geared towards the development of the country.
The convention will host seven (7) different topics, namely: Human Body, Internet, Urban Planning, Workplace, Products, Systems, and Household. Over three hundred fifty (350) participants will be divided according to their topic preference. In each of these workshops, an expert will give a lecture about the specific topic. The participants from each workshop will have to come up with an output from which a winner will be chosen.
ErgoCon 2018: Redefining Design is the BIGGEST ERGONOMICS EVENT in the country and is endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
