If you’re a music fest enthusiast, you may have undoubtedly heard of Bobapalooza 2024, one of the grandest music and arts festivals like no other!
Bobapalooza had an extensive roster of artists who captivated audiences from all walks of life—giving them all an exceptional experience at Filinvest City Events Grounds on February 24.
Recognized as a hub for a superb knack encompassing both visual artists and the most sought-after musicals in town, the festival had 15,000 attendees in its last iteration.
The day was taken to another level as several visual artists like Egg Fiasco, Blic, Distort Monsters, Syn, Mimaaaaaaaaw, Chno, and Isad Diwa graced the event.
Of course, Bobapalooza slayed as they served a breathtaking line-up of music artists, including One Click Straight, Autotelic, Syd Hartha, The Sundown, Project Romeo, Halina, Shanni, Moontyde, and Crazymoon.
Hyping the night even more, The Itchyworms performed their classic hits ‘Beer,’ ‘Akin Ka Na Lang,’ and more.
Juan Karlos treated the audience to a spectacular performance, serenading and getting fans to sing along to his highly-regarded songs like ‘Ere’ and ‘Buwan.’
Afterward, a nostalgic evening was capped off by local headliner act Rico Blanco, who sang favorites including ‘Liwanag sa Dilim,’ ‘Antukin,’ and ‘You’ll Be Safe Here.’
The night was brought to a notch higher by international headliners Bad Suns and Pale Waves during their first-ever performance here in the Philippines and thanked fans for giving them a lovely crowd embodying loud cheers while singing along, with the bands assuring that they would certainly be back.
Bobapalooza, in collaboration with Angat Buhay and Dakila, underlined their commitment to using art as an agent for social change and empowerment, aiming to foster the voices of artists as catalysts for change, inspiring and involving them in their communities.
